Northeast Chimney Sweeps is a Woburn, Massachusetts based chimney service business that has been in operation since 1978. We specialize in high-quality attentive service in the areas of chimney cleaning, capping, lining, water intrusion prevention, and small to medium masonry repairs. We visit approximately 750 homes each year to assess, advise and perform chimney maintenance related to these specialties.
In a trade that has been associated with aggressive salesmanship, we have sought to distinguish ourselves from others through a calm and reasonable approach, believing that our customers will respond to honesty and fairness. Our work is characterized by neatness, attention to detail, code compliance and first-time competence. Each year we handle hundreds of small jobs, dozens of medium sized jobs, and several larger projects.
Northeast Chimney Sweeps has been owned and operated by the Joseph Albano family since 1994. Joe has supplemented his initial training with regular attendance of industry seminars, improving his understanding of updated codes and repair techniques. He holds a Massachusetts Master Sheet Metal Worker’s license, has performed over 700 chimney liner installations and has cleaned approximately 14,000 chimneys in the last 21 years.
During the current climate of economic uncertainty, Northeast Chimney Sweeps has experienced a steady growth in business. This is a special distinction at a time when many contractors are looking for any work at all. We feel that our fair and honest treatment of our customers over many years has earned us a unique luxury – to be able to be steadily busy working with the best customers in the world!
